Planetary Alignment Harem

As you slept a once in a millennium event occurred. The planets reached perfect alignment and as astronomers around the world observed it something totally unexpected happened. At the exact moment the planets reached their alignment in the instant it happened, the sun turned blue and yellow light poured out of it encompassing the entirety of the solar system. In an event that would be called the Light Spread by the scientific community for the rest of recorded human history. As quick as it started it ended and and the sun returned to its usual color, and not a trace of the strange event remained.

As this groundbreaking event happened that would never be seen again by humanity, you slept. Your dreams that night were odd and broken. Images floated through your mind that you cannot recall only to swirl into a mix of flowing colors that wrapped around you in your dreams. Soon the colors spread over you and enveloped you rolling across you like oil on water. You would try and reach out, to grab onto something but find no purchase. You would try to open your mouth to speak and the colors would simply flow into your mouth like water down a drain. You know you should be scared but you aren't as this swirl of hues and shades flowed into and around you like a river. It seemed to stretch on for what felt like days but never did a single moment of fear enter you. Finally you began noticing the colors thin as the last of it entered your mouth, leaving you in a void of utter blackness for just a moment then you awake.

Your eyes shoot open and the blackness of the void is replaced by the familiar view of your ceiling, the radio alarm buzzes with talking heads you hear but cannot process in the grogginess of waking up. You hear certain words like "Light Spread", "Phenomenon", and "No Radiation". Your hand extends out and you press the radio alarms off button, and silence returns. You feel no exhaustion and the energy of a good nights sleep quickly found its way to you as you got out of bed to start your day.
