This route is gonna be a bit more complicated but is gonna allow for some more fun. Essentially you can break the fourth wall of the story to demand changes be made. When you desire reality will ease and you can demand changes as you see fit, resuming back to where you left off.

All you need to do is call the word "cut" when you wish to cause reality to ease. If you do not like someone's appearance you can have them swapped out for someone more desirable. If you disagree with someone's attitude you can call "cut" and direct them to take a different approach. Honestly if you don't like the narrative of the world all you simply need to do is call "Cut" and a quick edit to the script can set yourself back on track.

When you resume reality will act as though the changes you made were always such. There will be no awareness from anyone but you that anything has changed. Just keep in mind when you call "cut" reality will ease and people involved in the narrative will become aware they are in narrative as actors filling a role. For example if you replace you mom with a pornstar during a "cut" that woman won't be your mom she will be that pornstar until reality resumes. If you would like you can even replace members of the cast with fictional characters if that's your thing.
