Maria Beckets Bad Day

Maria Becket yawned as she stood from her crouch. She turned off the tv, tossing the remote onto the bundled blanket that had covered her as she watched some show or movie. Now that it had ended she stood, stretched, yawned again and headed off to ready herself for bed. Maria passed through her apartment, turning off lights and locking doors. She looked herself over in her bathroom mirror, her dark brown hair tumbling past her shoulders in lazy curls. Her blue-green eyes glimmered in the light as she washed her face before going back to her large Master bed. She curled up under the blankets of her warm comfy bed, turned off the bedside lamp and drifted off to sleep. Little did she know, she was in for a rather rude awakening the following morning, for the attention of, some horrifying thing from beyond reaches of conceivable space, The Author had landed upon her.

The unknowable mind of this being beyond her reality was ever changing. Sometimes benevolent, others capricious and vile. Though unfortunately for young Ms. Becket, The Author had only the most lewd and perverted ideas for her.
