You are Anzo Soliss one of the children of the great swamp… your people mutated from Alligators growing tall and powerful with armored scaly skin.

Your uniqueness in this post-apocalyptic world sets you apart from the other survivors. While many of them are left to fend for themselves in harsh environments and scavenge what remains of the old world, your people possess an advantage that not many can claim... slowly climbing from the mud of the great swamp and your feral Alligator ancestry.

Your body, unlike your human counterparts, is covered in armored scales. Your alligator eyes give you excellent night vision, and you can hold your breath for extended periods. You are taller than most humans, providing an intimidating presence and a distinct advantage when it comes to reach.

As a child of the great swamp, you have learned to navigate your environment with ease. Your people are experts in hunting, trapping, and surviving in the treacherous marshlands. The swamp has been your home for generations, and though the world outside has changed drastically, your connection to it remains unbroken.

You've been taught the history of the old world, or the remnants of it told through ancient artifacts you've found. Your people believe that the mutations that occurred in the swamp were a result of some kind of nuclear accident, blending the human inhabitants with the local fauna. You've learned to embrace these changes and see them as a gift, an evolutionary advantage in your new world.

When you venture out into the wider world, people are often wary, if not outright fearful, of your scaly appearance. You find solace in your community, where your uniqueness is not only accepted but celebrated. Your people believe that in order to survive this new world, they must be the best at adapting. Given your abilities and strength, it's clear that your lineage has been successful in this pursuit.

The challenges that lie ahead will put your unique traits to the test, and you will encounter other mutated creatures and human communities not as accepting of your kind. You must navigate this world, forming alliances and adversaries along the way. Through your journey, you’ll learn to understand your place in this new world, and perhaps even discover the truth about the mutations that have shaped your existence. Today you will leave the half sunken city of the ancients, and venture onto the dry lands in search of ancient treasures like the steel weapons you carry...
